What is included in Picture Pathways?
The complete bundle contains three five-page mini-packs: Puddle Patrol, Garden Crew and The Book Bag Mystery. Each mini-pack has a teacher introduction, three student pages and a response guide. That is nine student pages and 15 pages overall.
Which year levels can use the activities?
They are designed for Grades 1–2, with adult support for Kindergarten. You can also adapt the vocabulary, questions and writing demand for other levels to suit learners’ language and literacy needs.
Are these phonics or decodable-reading lessons?
Picture Pathways focuses on picture discussion, vocabulary, description and inference. Children practise explaining ideas with visible clues. It does not teach a phonics sequence or replace decodable-reading practice.
How do I download a resource?
Open a resource page and choose its Download button. The PDF may download directly or open in a browser tab, depending on your device. If it opens in a tab, use the browser or PDF viewer’s save/download control.
Which paper size should I use?
The pages are US Letter, 8.5 × 11 inches. Print on US Letter at actual size. If your printer uses A4, choose Fit or Fit to printable area so the edges stay visible.
Can I use the activity without printing?
Yes. Display the picture and read the prompts aloud for a picture talk. The PDF student pages are designed for printing; they do not have fillable form fields.
Are the response guides answer keys?
They show possible responses. Accept other accurate observations and sensible ideas when the child can explain a visible clue. An inference can be plausible without being certain.
Can I share the resources with colleagues?
Share the resource-page link so colleagues can explore the previews and download their own copy. You can print the student pages for your classroom or home learning.
Where are the paid resources?
Paid phonics, reading and writing collections are planned as Letterfield Learning grows. The current Picture Pathways downloads are free.
